Information Collection and Use
You can generally visit our Platform without revealing personally identifiable information about yourself if you have not logged in, or are not logged in to Facebook using the same web or mobile browser you use to visit our Platform. However, even if you are not logged in, we may be able to learn the Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to the internet connection you are using, and with that information we can determine the general geographic location assigned to that IP Address. This is also true if you are using a mobile device to access the Platform via Wifi or your mobile carrier's data service.
In certain sections of the Platform and when you use our Services, we may invite you to contact us with questions or comments or request information, and you may provide or upload personal, business, financial, and other information to access our Services and content, contact us with feedback, participate in surveys or questionnaires, recommend or rate Services, complete registration forms, place an order, make a purchase, or subscribe to any of the Services. Due to the nature of some of these activities, we may collect your IP address and location, as well as personally identifiable information that you submit, such as your email address, gender, photo, age, phone number, postal address, city, occupation or business, business information (e.g., business name and description of the business, number of employees, location of the business, type of business, fictitious business name, trade name, assumed name, and/or DBA), and/or financial information (e.g., credit card information).
We may use your information and personally identifiable information, including your email address, and billing or physical address: (1) to deliver information and services related to CERR, (2) to provide notices regarding services or information you have provided, (3) to verify your authority to enter our Platform, (4) to ascertain your experiences with the Platform, (5) to improve the content and general administration of the Platform and our Services, and (6) to display or provide targeted advertising on web pages served by the Platform or in email, and (7) to contact you, including by email. We may contact you for administrative communications to address violations of Terms of Service issues, solve issues regarding your order(s), or for marketing related to CERR.
We may use and disclose your information to third-party persons or entities if we believe, in good faith, that it is appropriate or necessary, among other things: to take precautions against liability; to protect CERR from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses; to investigate and defend CERR against third-party claims or allegations; to assist government enforcement agencies: to respond to court orders or subpoenas; to protect the security or integrity of the Platform or Services; or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of CERR, our users, or others. We may disclose user information to affiliated companies or other businesses or persons to provide web site hosting, maintenance, and security services; fulfill orders; conduct data analysis and create reports; offer certain functionality; and assist us in improving the Platform, Services, and content and creating new services and features.
We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for other business reasons. If you would like to request that we do not use your information to provide you with Services, you may contact email@example.com and we will consider your request. Please note, however, that even if we do attempt to honor your request there may be latency in deleting information from our servers and backed-up versions may exist after deletion. We may also retain your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. User information may also be reviewed and modified by the User by logging in to the user's My Account page.

When you use or access the CERR Platform, we may use small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters called “cookies” to improve overall Platform experience, among other things. A cookie is a small file containing a unique string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a Platform. When you visit the Platform again, the cookie allows the site to recognize those unique characters of your browser. Cookies generally do not permit us to personally identify you, although they may store user preferences and other information. CERR may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie generally disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the CERR site or other web sites. Persistent cookies can generally be removed by you.
You can reset your browser to block all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. You can also clear cookies that are stored on your computer. However, some website features or services may not function properly without cookies. Please review your web browser “Help” file to learn the proper way to modify your cookie settings and to remove cookies. We may also use web beacons or pixel tags on our Platform and in emails that we send to you. We may also collect information regarding pages visited, searches performed, documents viewed and downloaded, and comments made.
When you access the Platform or open one of our HTML emails from your computer, tablet, mobile phone, or any device now or later developed we may automatically record certain information from your system by using different types of tracking technology, including server logs. This “automatically collected” information may include your IP Address, a unique device or user ID, version of software installed, the type of device, system type, browser used, the content and pages that you accessed on the Platform, the dates and times that you visited the Platform, documents that you viewed or downloaded, advertisements that you clicked on, and information from your Facebook account that you make publicly available, which is provided to us by Facebook via the Facebook Application Programming Interface (API). Like most web sites, our servers automatically record the page requests made when you visit our Platform. These “server logs” typically include your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
We do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.
The Platform may track the total number of visitors to our Platform, the number of visitors to each page of our Platform, browser type, and IP addresses, and we may analyze these data for trends and statistics in the aggregate, but such information will be maintained, used, and disclosed in aggregate form only and it will not contain personally identifiable information. We may use such aggregate information to analyze trends, administer the Platform, track users' movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
We may provide your personally identifiable information and the data generated by cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, logs, and the aggregate information to the vendors and service agencies that we may engage to assist us in providing our Services and advertising to you. Such third party entities may be obligated to use your personally identifiable information to provide the services to us, such as processing credit card transactions and orders. We will disclose your personally identifiable information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation or in cooperation with any governmental investigation, including upon receipt of what we believe may be a valid subpoena, whether issued by a Court that has jurisdiction over CERR or not. (Please note that CERR reserves the right to assert that only the Federal District Court of the Northern District of California, and the San Francisco County Superior Court have jurisdiction, and subpoenas from outside those jurisdictions must be “domesticated,” though we are not obligated to do so.) We will not sell your personally identifiable information to any company or organization; however, we may transfer your personally identifiable information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation, or other corporate reorganization in which CERR participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of CERR's assets to which this Platform relates.

We employ procedural and technological security measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. CERR may use encryption, password protection, and other security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE SECRECY OF YOUR UNIQUE PASSWORD, PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION, AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION AT ALL TIMES. WE CANNOT, HOWEVER, ENSURE OR WARRANT THE SECURITY OF ANY INFORMATION YOU TRANSMIT TO US AND YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR TRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION, WE MAKE COMMERCIALLY REASONABLE EFFORTS TO ENSURE THE SECURITY OF OUR SYSTEMS, HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT SUCH INFORMATION MAY NOT BE ACCESSED, DISCLOSED, ALTERED, OR DESTROYED BY BREACH OF ANY OF OUR PHYSICAL, TECHNICAL, OR MANAGERIAL SAFEGUARDS. IF WE LEARN OF A SECURITY SYSTEMS BREACH, THEN WE MAY ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU ELECTRONICALLY SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE APPROPRIATE PROTECTIVE STEPS.
